Thing says it's for a 350 sq ft space...mine is a lot bigger with 12 ft ceilings and it has been cool as a cucumber since I installed this AC. Real quiet. My only beef is that if you have a casement window that isn't exactly the same width as the unit itself there isn't much there to stabilize it so it doesn't fall out....you kindof have to build a wood frame thinger...but that's didn't really bother me that much.
